History

      The Company is founded in 1981. By 1994 it changed its name become FT Far East Limited to source and trade life-like Christmas trees and foliage products. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of FT Holdings International Limited. The Christmas trees are made of PVC sourced mainly from Taiwan and metallic materials sourced mainly from Greater China. The products are supplied primarily to overseas wholesalers and Hong Kong-based trading companies.

Timeline

1981 - The company is founded in Hong Kong to design and manufacture life-like plants for decorative purposes.
1983 - Expansion of manufacturing facilities to China.
1988 - Further expansion of manufacturing facilities in China.
1989 - Begins production of life-like Christmas trees.
1992 - Enters into a long-term manufacturing agreement in China.
1993 - Establishes Dongguan United Art, a Sino-foreign equity joint venture manufacturing life-like Christmas trees and foliage products.
1994 - Rename the company become FT Far East to source and trade
life-like Christmas trees and foliage products.
1997 - Restructure with FT Holdings International Limited and Lists
on The Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
